Granola is a weekday snack staple for us – 1/4 cup of homemade granola, plain Greek yogurt, and some berries – and our mid-morning is seemingly complete.
?2 cups oats
?1 cup flax seed
?2 scoops vanilla protein*
?1/2 cup raw whole almonds
?1/2 raisins [optional]
?enough to make the mix sticky Pure Vermont Maple Syrup [that’s my measurement]
?sprinkle of cinnamon
1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. The mix should be sticky.
2. Preheat the over to 350. Distribute granola mix evenly across a baking sheet.
3. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes. You may need to stir the mix at the 12 minute point and return to over for an additional minute or two. The granola should be slightly crunchy.
